alli works by stopping approx one third of the fat from your diet from being absorbed.The undigested fat is excreted out in your stools stopping you from gaining weight by not absorbing the calories from the fat. If combined with a low calorie diet and exercise you will expect to loose weight.

How to take alli:
alli 60mg capsules should be taken with, during or up to 1 hour after main meals. If a main meal is missed or does not contain any fat then Orlistat should be missed. It is advised to take multi vitamins whilst taking this medication as some fat solubale vitamins may not be absorbed.
If are using the contraceptive pill, it is advisable to use additional protection such as condoms as any diarrhoea may impair absorption and increases the risk of pregnancy
alli (Orlistat) is not suitable if you are breast feeding
